Can I choose my return time from Keukenhof to Amsterdam?

We have buses departing from Keukenhof every 30 minutes. You are free to choose any departure back to Amsterdam until 18:30. The only exception is the Keukenhof + Flower Farm + Windmill Cruise excursion, which follows a fixed schedule and return time.

How long does it take to get from Amsterdam to Keukenhof Gardens?

The journey takes approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

 

How early do I need to be at the meeting point in Amsterdam and where is it located?

For tours, we recommend arriving 20 to 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

How early do I need to be at the meeting point at Keukenhof for departure and where is it located?

We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your preferred departure time. With the flexible return service, seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Departures between 15:00 and 17:00 are generally busier and some waiting time may occur during these peak hours.

Are there toilets on board?

No, there are no toilets available on board our buses. However, there are plenty of restroom facilities available at Keukenhof.

Is there Wi-Fi on board?

No, Wi-Fi is not available on board the buses.

What happens if I miss my tour and/or my bus?

If you miss your tour departure from Amsterdam, a rescheduling fee will apply to move your booking to another departure time.

If you miss your return bus from Keukenhof, please contact one of our staff members at the parking area or call our office for further assistance.

If I miss my bus from Keukenhof, do you cover my costs to return to Amsterdam?

No, you will need to arrange your own transportation back to Amsterdam. We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred.

Can we bring food and drinks on the bus?

Soft drinks and coffee are permitted on board, provided they are in bottles or containers with a secure lid. Cans are not allowed.

Eating on the bus is not permitted.

My child is under 3 years old. Do they get a seat on the bus?

Children under 3 years old travelling without a ticket do not have their own seat and must sit on a parent’s or guardian’s lap.

If you would like your child to have a separate seat, a child ticket must be purchased.

Can we reserve seats on the bus back to Amsterdam?

No, seat reservations are not possible. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
